Fresh Strawberry Milk Korean Café Style
This popular drink is easy to make and is refreshing on a hot day.

- 350 g Strawberries
- ½ tbsp cornflour
- 5 tbsp caster sugar
- Milk
Wash strawberries. Then chop strawberries. Set aside some chopped strawberries with 1tbsp sugar. This will add to the strawberry layers later.
Place in a saucepan on medium-low heat. Pour in caster sugar allow the juices to release.
Add a small amount of water to the corn-starch to make a slurry. Once the juices have released add the corn-starch slurry. Add allow it to boil until thicken.
You place the syrup straight into a jar, or you can sieve the strawberry syrup to get a smooth syrup.
To assemble. Place ice cubes in the bottom of the glass followed by the chopped strawberries we put aside earlier. Then pour syrup and milk into glass. Re-peat for more layers.
